Whatever happened to bubblegum flavored bubblegum?

This is a riddle I made up:

It is a hot summers day. After drinking half of your cup of ice water, you pour the rest down the sink drain. The water goes down, but unfortunately, the ice clogs the drain. Soon, the sink is filled to the brim with other food leftovers, but you don't want to fish it out of the drain, so you don't do anything. But later in the day when you come back, everything in the sink seems to be functioning normally, and there is no clog! You ask everybody if they had fixed it, but they reply that they last saw the sink clogged. What happened?

I know this riddle is kind of easy, but I tried to make it as hard as I could!

Conscience - Sin or Blessing?

Even though this is not how or why the word "conscience" originated (or at least nobody knows), did you ever think about the fact the conscience is spelled like con-science?

We all know that conscience means "a sense of right or wrong within somebody, so consider the following questions:

Could your conscience actual be detrimental to your health, causing you to go crazy - after all, it "hates" science, so could it hate your health?

Could your conscience be something that defies science?

If you were a form of water - from raindrops to oceans - how would you feel? Would you feel good - because you are making rocks smooth(erosion)and you are always cleaning things up? Or would you feel horrible - because you are being polluted, and nobody ever really realizes your true good qualities?

Crashing Continents-The Movie!

Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a video-camera that never ever ran out of charge? If there is, we could do the following:

1-Take the camera to a beach where another continent will soon connect to that beach
2-A stand will hold it there-facing towards the oceans
3-Once the continents start to collide and maybe form mountains, stop the camera
4-Replay in a faster mode

We could see real continent collision-instead of just predicting what is going to happen. I am sure, though, that there are many more interesting things that we could do with an everlasting camera!

Earth-Back to Lava!

What would you think would happen if, given the right tools, humans could drill all the way to the Earth's Mantle? Would the crust sink back down into the mantle?

What would you do if your house suddenly went back a couple billion years-your house would be a lava boat, but only for a couple seconds before your house (and you!) melt in the sweltering heat!:-(

Aliens-Meaningless Myth, or Undiscovered Mystery?

If you think about it, our Universe is very, very, very, very, very big. The chances that there are not any living creatures out there is very, very, very, very, very small. I wish that we could explore our whole Universe and communicate with extraterrestrials in just 1 generation!

One Sun Too Many!

Could a star shift and replace our sun?

Wouldn't it be cool if our sun could divide itself- we would have two suns! (If there were somehow suns on either side of the Earth, the time difference might change!!!)

Will fresh water supply ever run out? Desalination is not very helpful or effective. What would life be like without water?

If Earth were to suddenly lose its gravity, would things in Antartica fall up (like if you were standing in Antarctica, wouldn't you technically be upside down?)

Will the sun's supernova happen before any dramatic changes take place on Earth?

What will the "humans" (if they haven't already evolved) do to prepare for the sun's supernova?

Can a newborn baby feel air pressure?

If it can-does it squish them a bit?

It it cannot-why doesn't it? When does it start to gradually feel the air pushing down on it?

If it feels perfectly normal then was it "connecting" to the air pressure on its mother?
